Para celebrar estas fechas decembrinas, los mercadillos, posteriores al 18 de diciembre, fueron adelantados un día para que los bumangueses podamos comprar productos frescos del campo.
Los Mercadillos son un espacio para compartir, propiciar encuentros entre familias, amigos, y lo más importante: el encuentro del campesino con el citadino.
También busca generar nuevos ingresos al campesinado bumangués, con un espacio propio en el cual comercializar sus productos sin necesidad de algún intermediario.
Para el 2022, ya son 200 los usuarios que hacen parte de esta estrategia que busca impulsar la economía del área rural.

Desde las 6:00 a.m. a la 1:00 p.m. podrá encontrar estos espacios que recuerdan a las plazas de mercado en los siguientes parques:
- San Pío.
- Los Niños.
- Los Sueños.
- Neomundo.

El campesinado que hace parte de parte de los Mercadillos vende gran variedad de productos, entre frutas, verduras, plantas, productos a base de leche, miel y hasta plantas.
