Con 52 motocicletas nuevas, la Administración de Juan Carlos Cárdenas refuerza la capacidad operativa de la Policía Metropolitana contra delitos de alto impacto.
La Alcaldía de Bucaramanga hizo entrega oficial a la Policía Metropolitana de 52 motocicletas, marca Honda XRE 300, que fortalecerán la eficiencia, la reacción y la movilidad en la ciudad, a través de los planes especiales de patrullaje, escuadrones especializados frente al hurto y presencia territorial.
«Las 52 motos ayudarán a que la Policía llegue más rápido, que no haya más quejas por parte de la ciudadanía por las demoras. Vamos a empezar a trabajar para que la Policía llegue a tiempo, de manera oportuna y puedan ser capturados los delincuentes», resaltó el mandatario de los bumangueses, Juan Carlos Cárdenas.

Por la capacidad y resistencia, los vehículos entregados ofrecen facilidades para los uniformados en velocidad de reacción, estabilidad en situaciones de persecución y maniobrabilidad. A esto se suma que están dotados con las características tecnológicas propias del servicio policial, como el sistema GPS y balizas.
La entrega del nuevo parque automotor se realizó en la Plaza Cívica Luis Carlos Galán Sarmiento en el marco del lanzamiento del ‘Plan Navidad’, con presencia de representantes del Gobierno Nacional, Departamental y la Fuerza Pública.
El Gobierno de Juan Carlos Cárdenas entregará en los próximos días otras 10 motocicletas no uniformadas, pero con características similares, para fortalecer las especialidades investigativas de la Policía.
Con estas acciones se continúa demostrando el compromiso para mejorar las capacidades de reacción y desplazamiento de la Fuerza Pública, trabajando de manera articulada por la seguridad de todos los bumangueses en esta época de Navidad.
Inversión en seguridad
